Canterbury Village Medieval Faire

An outdoor medieval event held at Canterbury Village in Lake Orion, where castle turrets and cobblestone paths serve as the setting for strolling entertainment. Visitors encounter musicians, jesters, magicians, belly and fire dancers, comedy skits, live bands, knights in combat and a Viking encampment, along with a queen and royal court. Craft demonstrations include glassblowing, blacksmithing and gourd art, while vendor tents and village shops sell costuming, jewelry, chain mail, crowns, cloaks, swords and shields. Archery, foam-sword dueling, a mock jail, turkey legs and a pub patio round out the offerings; buildings on site are air-conditioned.
