Buckeye Lake Pirate Fest

A three-day pirate-themed festival held on and around the shores of Buckeye Lake, centered on the Port Royal Marketplace at Captain Big Stan's in Thornville. The free marketplace spans two outdoor shopping areas with more than 100 vendor booths, multiple food trucks and a Renaissance Market of handcrafted goods, alongside free family and children's entertainment, live performances, pirate karaoke, a fashion and body art show and a flag ceremony. A Tri-County Treasure Hunt hides more than 30 chests across three counties, with tours reachable by pontoon boat, bicycle, motorcycle or golf car. Pirates, mermaids and steampunk themes feature throughout.
