Bill Johnston's Pirate Days

Bill Johnston's Pirate Days is a three-day pirate-themed community festival held around the waterfront of Alexandria Bay in New York's Thousand Islands region, with activities spread across the village docks, Casino Island, Scenic Park and downtown streets. The schedule includes a staged invasion at Scenic Park Dock, a children's parade and a grand parade through the village, a historical encampment and infantry drills, tall ship tours, and evening block dances with live bands. Family activities include face painting, a reptile exhibit, animal talks, mermaid and pirate crafts, magic shows and a self-guided river walk trail.
