Skagit Valley Renaissance "Faire du Well"

Held at the Skagit County Fairgrounds in Mt Vernon, this Shakespeare-themed renaissance festival features five period combat encampments (LARP boffer battles, HEMA, SCA, armored grappling, and buhurt steel fighting), unchoreographed arena battles, a horse showcase, and professional wrestlers performing Shakespeare's wrestling scenes. The grounds include Titania's Bower faerie land, three royal courts led by Mary, Queen of Scots, Shakespeare competitions with cash prizes for non-profit theatre companies, archery and thrown weapons, maypole and fire dancing, beer and mead gardens, and evening arena concerts. Adult gate admission is around $25 per day with parking charged separately, and the grounds have ADA flush restrooms, free water access, and cooling areas.
