Camlann - A Festival for May

May Faire opens the summer season at Camlann Medieval Village, a living history museum depicting rural English life in the late fourteenth century. The day-long festival centres on music, magic, archery, dancing around the May Pole and seasonal spring celebration, with tickets sold at the front gate. Visitors to the village can also meet costumed villagers demonstrating medieval blacksmithing, combat, cooking, pottery, weaving, woodworking and writing, and the Bors Hede Inne serves medieval fare with music and storytelling. A seasonal feast drawn from medieval cookery books is offered alongside the faire.
