Arizona Renaissance Festival

An open-air festival held in Gold Canyon, seven miles east of Apache Junction on US Highway 60, running Saturdays and Sundays over a nine-weekend season. Visitors stroll the Village of Fairhaven among jousting knights on horseback, falconry, mermaids and fairies, games and rides, and an open-air Artisan Market of arts and crafts; separately ticketed extras include a five-course Pleasure Feast with Renaissance entertainment and The Hops pub crawl. Adult admission is $39 and children 5 to 12 are $25, plus tax and fees, with children 4 and under free; parking is free, including for buses.
