Ohio Renaissance Festival

The Ohio Renaissance Festival, named America's best renaissance festival by USA Today, fills a sprawling village near Waynesville, Ohio, minutes off I-71 and I-75. The grounds hold 215 shoppes of home-made crafts and 22 stages carrying more than 100 shows daily, from dueling swordsmen and fire jugglers to the joust, with food and drink running to turkey legs, pulled pork, burgers, and beer. The season runs weekends plus Labor Day, 10:30 am to 7:00 pm, and includes themed weekends such as Highland, Viking, Time Travelers, Romance, Myths and Monsters, and Heroes and Villains.
