Yosemite Chivalry & Fantasy Festival

A weekend festival held at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds in California's Sierra foothills, about an hour from Yosemite Valley along scenic Highway 140. The grounds become a living fantasy village of knights, queens, fairies and artisans, with live jousting and armored combat, archery competitions, axe throwing contests, and Celtic and fantasy music. Visitors can wander an artisan marketplace, a Fairy Village with family activities, and themed taverns, with interactive performances throughout the grounds and evening entertainment.
