Wyndonshire Renaissance Faire

Hosted by the Winchendon Parks and Recreation Department, this immersive renaissance faire with a nod to fantasy takes place at Winchendon Community Park, a municipal park whose amphitheater serves as a focal point. The storyline follows three rival factions \u2014 the Blue King, the Green Queen and the Red Baron \u2014 whose names draw on historical founding families of the town, and unfolds through a power struggle and an arranged royal wedding. Music, dance, crafts, artisans and variety performers fill out the grounds, alongside a fairy grove and a mermaid area. Costumes are encouraged but not required, with prop weapons subject to a peace-tying policy and security approval. Limited on-site and accessible parking is available, with shuttles from additional lots.
