Watch City Steampunk Festival

The Watch City Steampunk Festival is a free one-day outdoor community festival centered on Waltham Common at the corner of Main and Moody Streets, using the steampunk theme — Victorian-era history and fashion melded with retro-futuristic technology — to explore music, art, fashion, and technology. Visitors find theatrical and musical performers, panel discussions and lectures, displays of history, art and science, and vendors selling clothing, jewelry, art, and food. Children's programming makes it a family friendly event. Daytime festival activities are presented free to the public; the festival is a project of the Downtown Waltham Partnership, a nonprofit.
