Virginia Fantasy Festival

The Virginia Fantasy Festival is a fantasy-and-history festival held on weekends at the Madison Hills Event Grounds in Madison, Virginia. Stages host comedy, sleight of hand, and acoustic music, and a Mongolian-inspired horse show features skilled riders, traditional music and costume, and archery demonstrations. Visitors can take hands-on blacksmithing, knife making, and glass blowing classes, browse a juried market of local artisans selling costumes, jewelry, leather goods, and artwork, and eat scratch-made food, with craft brews, local wines, and mead for those over 21. A full-day pass is $20 and parking is $10, with seniors over 65 and children under 8 admitted free.
