Held for one weekend each summer at Tahoe Paradise Park in South Lake Tahoe, the Valhalla Renaissance Faire builds an Elizabethan village beneath the pines of the Sierra Nevada. Produced by Renaissance Productions, it features live jousting tournaments, Queen Elizabeth and her court on progress, stage performances and music, more than 100 artisans and craft vendors, medieval food and ale, costume contests and scavenger hunts. Admission is a two-step process: guests park at designated lots, receive a wristband, and ride free shuttles to the gate. Rideshare drop-off on East San Bernardino Avenue serves as the accessible entry, and shuttles accommodate mobility devices.
