Upstate Renaissance Faire

The Upstate Renaissance Faire is a three-day event held at Hollywild Animal Preserve in Wellford, South Carolina, on wooded grounds with winding trails, gravel walkways and grassy, uneven areas. Begun in 2021 as an effort to revitalize small businesses after the 2020 pandemic, it drew over 10,000 attendees in its first year and features vendors, performers, a daily costume contest, children's activities on the weekend days, and animal encounter experiences such as photos with a kangaroo. Parking on site is free, with handicapped parking available, and the faire is wheelchair accessible with some limitations. Admission is charged.
