Siouxland Renaissance Festival

The Siouxland Renaissance Festival is the annual outdoor event of the Siouxland Renaissance Association, an all-volunteer non-profit that shares the Renaissance era as viewed from Tudor England through family-friendly events held throughout the year. Staged at the W. H. Lyon Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls over a weekend, and held rain or shine, it draws entertainers and participants from across the country. Visitors find stage and wandering performers including musicians, bawdy comedy troupes, magic, juggling, belly dance, storytelling and mounted horse shows, alongside educational encampments built on re-enactment, presentation and participation.
