Southern Indiana Renaissance Faire

Held at Swifty Farms, a racehorse breeding farm in Seymour, Indiana, this faire is run by a 501(c)(3) organisation that funds scholarships for local high school seniors in history and the arts. Attractions include full-contact jousting, a royal falconer and birds of prey shows, magicians, storytellers, musicians, and costumed characters such as mermaids, fairies, orcs and druids, alongside vendors selling armor, leather goods, ceramics, soap, ironwork and archery supplies. Food vendors are on site and outside food and drink are not permitted. Parking is free with handicapped parking available, and the flat grounds suit wheelchairs, scooters and strollers except after heavy rain. Day, weekend and season passes are sold online or at the gate at the same price, with gate discounts for seniors, military and law enforcement.
