Santee Renaissance Faire

The Santee Renaissance Faire is held at the Santee Historical Society on Magnolia Avenue in Santee, California. Daily events include a queen's progress, a 16th-century mock battle between guilds, a jousting tournament, and an archery tournament that costumed visitors can enter with their own traditional recurve or long bow and wooden, feather-fletched arrows. Two stages carry live entertainment from acts such as The Whiskey Bards, Baba's Bawdy Naughty Show, and De Gekkevlek, alongside street performers and clothing, weapon, and trinket shoppes. Food includes turkey legs, with beer, wine, and mead; costume attire is encouraged but not required, and overflow parking includes a free shuttle.
