Realm of Twin Riverswood Renaissance Faire

The only renaissance faire in northern Aroostook County, this two-day event turns the soccer field and softball area of Albert Michaud Memorial Park in Limestone into a medieval village, with Merchants Row, the Mystical Glen, and a Children's Pavilion offering crafts, storytime and a Knights and Damsels Tea. Presented by the Realm of Twin Riverswood, a nonprofit medieval and historical educational organization that picks a new theme each season, it features live music and stage performances, armored sword combat from the Stormwalkers of W.A.R.G., archery, thrown weapons and youth axe throwing, plus blacksmithing and period woodworking demonstrations. Adult admission is around $6, cash only at the gate, with cheaper tickets for teens and children and babes in arms free.
