Realm of Twin Riverswood Renaissance Faire

Staged at Albert Michaud Memorial Park in Limestone, this two-day Aroostook County faire is presented by the Realm of Twin Riverswood, a nonprofit medieval and historical educational organization. A different theme is chosen each season, and the park's ball fields become a medieval village with Merchants Row and the mystical Glen, a Children's Pavilion with crafts, storytime and a Knights and Damsels Tea, plus archery, thrown weapons and youth axe throwing. The Stormwalkers of W.A.R.G. demonstrate armored sword combat, and regular blacksmithing and period woodworking demonstrations run alongside live music and stage entertainment. Admission is low-cost, collected in cash at the gate, with babes in arms free.
