Queensferry Renaissance Festival

Queensferry Renaissance Festival, billed as Oklahoma's Little Scotland, recreates 16th century Scotland on US-60 in Vinita and promotes itself as the only renaissance festival located on Route 66. A royal court led by Queen Mary I of Scotland and King Consort Henry Stuart, Lord Darnley anchors the shire, alongside townsfolk, a pirate encampment known as the Buccaneers of the Coast, and living history demonstrations by a stone carver and wool spinners. Stage entertainment includes birds of prey falconry, bagpiping, hammered dulcimer, belly and Arabian dance, storytelling and bubble shows, with an artisan market selling handcrafted goods, mead and cider, plus a food court.
