Oklahoma Renaissance Festival

The Oklahoma Renaissance Festival is held at the Castle of Muskogee, whose grounds become the Renaissance village of Castleton for the run of the event. Armored knights meet in live jousts at the tournament arena, and stages throughout the village carry music, comedy, and other performances. A marketplace of artisans sells handcrafted goods, while taverns and food stalls serve faire food and drink. Children can complete the Royal Quest, ending in an audience with the King and Queen, and costumed visitors can enter a costume contest. The festival runs each spring on Saturdays and Sundays, and is also open on Memorial Day.
