Pirate Day in the Bay

Pirate Day in the Bay is a pirate-themed community festival organized by the Mystic Krewe of the Seahorse, a Hancock County non-profit, with activities centered on Pirate Central and on Main Street and the beachfront. The weekend includes a Friday night pub crawl and treasure hunt at participating pubs, a Lil' Buccaneers' Parade for children, kids' and adults' costume contests, arts, crafts and jewelry vendors, and live bands playing into the evening. The Pirate Invasion Parade features a pirate ship float, decorated golf carts, marching crews and dance groups, and a fireworks display over the bay closes the event.
