Celtic Music Festival and Scottish Highland Games on the Mississippi Gulf Coast

An annual Celtic music festival and Scottish Highland Games held on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and organized by the Highlands and Islands Association of Celtic Gatherings, Inc. of Gulfport. The event program covers Celtic music and pipe bands, Irish dance troupes including the Maccrossan and Niall O'Leary schools, Highland games events open to the public, jousting, sheep herding demonstrations and a Renaissance Village. Visitors also find artisans and merchant vendors, clan and society tents, a cultural tent, food and beverages, and a children's area. The organisation lists nearby hotel and campground information and relies on member volunteers.
