Ohio Viking Festival

The Ohio Viking Festival is an annual celebration of Viking history, culture, and entertainment held at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Painesville, Ohio. Reenactors stage combat demonstrations and a full-contact joust, and a Viking village features artisans demonstrating period crafts alongside storytellers and performers. The grounds also hold vendors, food, mead, live music, and hands-on workshops in skills of the era. A kids-versus-Vikings water balloon battle gives children a chance to join in. Admission is ticketed, with free entry for children five and under, and parking is free.
