Idyllwild Renaissance Faire

The Idyllwild Renaissance Faire is a Spanish-themed Renaissance festival held at Hurkey Creek Park, in an alpine forest setting at about 5,000 feet elevation south of Idyllwild. Rather than the usual English setting, it recreates a Spanish fall faire and Exposici\u00f3n Internacional set during the reign of Elisabeth of Valois, consort of Philip II. Visitors find multiple stages, strolling performers, music, storytelling, daily parades, a Queen's Court encampment, and guild camps including Vikings, pirates and Celtic clans giving craft demonstrations, plus merchants, games, food and drink. An adults-only stage with clearly marked adult content is also offered.
