Midsummer Fantasy Renaissance Faire

The Midsummer Fantasy Renaissance Faire takes place at Warsaw Park in Ansonia, Connecticut, running across three weekends with a fantasy setting populated by elves, fairies, orcs, goblins, animal-kin and dwarves. Performers appear on five stages, offering magic, juggling, music, storytelling, comedy, Shakespearean theater, armored combat and swordfighting, plus a birds of prey demonstration. Vendors sell handmade wares and food, and visitors can try archery and axe throwing. The faire also programs themed weekends with costume contests, including Celtic, Warrior and Halloween-in-July themes, along with an afterhours fire show and concert.
