Idyllwild Celtic Faire

A Celtic festival held at Hurkey Creek Park in the San Jacinto Mountains, about 15 minutes south of downtown Idyllwild, at an elevation of roughly 4,250 feet on mostly grassy, partly uneven county park ground. Produced by Mountaintop Productions Inc., it is staged as a 16th-century Highland village modeled on the fictional Brigadoon, with an educational emphasis on how Scots of that era lived. Visitors find multiple stages, strolling performers, storytelling and Celtic music including bagpipers, Highland games and Stones of Strength, guild encampments of Vikings, pirates and Celtic clans, plus food and merchant stalls.
