Heathen Days and Pagan Nights

Held in Salcha, roughly 40 miles from Fairbanks, this multi-day outdoor festival is organized by the Wild Heathen Wolfpack and set in the Viking Age, around 793 to 1066 CE. Each edition carries its own theme. Daytime programming leans toward Viking-era history and culture, with live music, traditional Viking games, classes and lectures, food vendors, and stalls selling pagan art and trinkets. Evenings bring bonfire gatherings for adults only, typically combining meditation, a fire dancer and karaoke in the woods. Activities are offered for both adults and children, and admission is ticketed. The grounds are known as Raven Wolf Hoff.
