Three Barons Renaissance Faire

Held on the soccer fields of Russian Jack Springs Park North in Anchorage, this fair stages the fictional village of Hillshire in commemoration of Hillthelstan the Bold. Over two weekends, the Red, Green and Blue Barons and their entourages compete for the Spear of Hillthelstan, with visitors choosing the daily winner by casting wooden tokens. Attractions include live sword fighting in a Tournament of Champions, a market of food and artisan vendors selling swords, wands and clothing, games of skill, and the Crooked Toad Tavern. ASL interpreters are present on all fair days, and a free parking shuttle runs from UAA's West Lot.
