Hawaiian Scottish Festival and Highland Games

Organized by the Hawaiian Scottish Association on Oahu, this annual festival combines Highland athletic competitions with Scottish and Celtic cultural programming. Visitors find men's and women's heavy athletics, Highland dance competition, and entertainment across a main stage and an acoustic stage featuring pipe bands, harp, traditional sessions and Celtic groups. A gathering of clans from Hawaii and the mainland host information tables, while demonstrations cover swordplay, weaving and fencing. Vendors sell Scottish and Celtic clothing, jewelry, musical instruments and housewares, and food stalls offer traditional Scottish fare alongside local dishes.
