Harvest Faire

Harvest Faire is a volunteer-run, free-to-the-public two-day Middle Ages faire staged by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, held at Breezy Hill Meadworks and paired with a fundraising effort for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. Reenactment groups cover life from the Middle Ages through the Golden Age of Piracy, including a Viking village and shield wall, black powder cannon and small arms demonstrations, knights discussing chivalry and swordplay, and beginner sword and archery instruction. Period and non-period merchants, artisans, games of skill and strategy, a food court, entertainers on the grounds and main stage, and traditionally made honey mead round out the event.
