Gallabrae by Greenville Scottish Games

Gallabrae is a Memorial Day weekend celebration of Scottish heritage in Greenville, South Carolina, anchored by the Greenville Scottish Games held on the Furman University campus. The weekend opens with the Great Scot! Parade along Main Street in downtown Greenville, followed by a day of games featuring heavy athletics, pipes and drums, Scottish clans and Border Collie handlers. A vendor marketplace offers Celtic gifts, jewelry, pottery, woodcraft, tartan goods and craft demonstrators, alongside a range of food stalls. The event runs rain or shine, parking is free, and visitors may bring lawn chairs and blankets.
