Fables Faire - A Festival of Myth & Legend

A one-day festival of myth and legend held in downtown La Conner, Washington, organised by the citizens' group La Conner Thrives in collaboration with the Washington Shakespearean Festival. The Washington Shakespearean Festival brings its Glob Theatre with performers, scholars, demonstrators, games and an armor and costume selfie station, along with open stage times for members of the public to offer a song, story or comic turn. Historical re-creation societies demonstrate crafts, armor, clothing, music and games, and visitors can dance the MayPole, join a round, try spinning wool, and patronise the town's shops and eateries.
