Edge of Spring Fantasy Fair

The Edge of Spring Fantasy Fair is a fantasy-themed festival held at the Gold Country Fairgrounds & Event Center in Auburn, California, produced by Stang Productions. A recent edition carried an Old World Faerie Tales theme, with realms inspired by stories such as Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel, Rumpelstiltskin and Rapunzel. Visitors find stage shows and musical entertainment, interactive storytelling, costumed parades, fantastical creatures, themed shopping with merchants, craft artisans and food vendors. Costumes are encouraged but not required, and a costume contest is held; peace-tied weapons are permitted as part of costume, and full-face masks are not.
