Colonial Faire

Colonial Faire is an interactive living-history event at Riley's Farm in Oak Glen, recreating the New England village of Chesterfield in the late 18th century. Visitors encounter trappers, riflemen, townsfolk, craftsmen and British Regulars, with interactive dramatic presentations, swordplay demonstrations and duels of honor, music and theatre, military encampments, blacksmithing, culinary arts and old-fashioned colonial games. Hands-on activities include candle dipping, weaving, flower crown making, archery and tomahawk throwing, alongside shopping with local artisans and colonial sutlers. Food and drink are served at the Hawk's Head Publick House, and an on-site bakery offers apple pies and pastries.
