Chico Renaissance and Fantasy Faire

A one-day Renaissance and fantasy event held at the Patrick Ranch Museum, presented by Your Local Marketplace together with the non-profit Sound Source. Costumed attendees of any genre are welcomed, from knights and fairies to pirates, wizards and science-fiction characters, and a costume contest is judged by a panel of local personalities. The program includes live music and performance sets, free interactive workshops, blacksmithing demonstrations with an on-site forge, a petting zoo, sheep dog demonstrations in the horse corral, mini bicycle jousting, aerial and fire dancing, flash tattoos, free flower crown crafting and a vendor trinket trade.
