Central Idaho Renaissance Fair

An annual family-oriented renaissance fair held at the Blaine County Fairgrounds in Carey, Idaho. It began as a high school senior project and proceeds fund scholarships for students pursuing elementary, history, performing arts or literature education. Visitors find a marketplace of vendor booths, including artisans demonstrating their crafts, who are not charged for booth space. Period costume is encouraged but not required, and costume weapons must be peace tied. The fair also maintains a detailed trinket trading policy covering the exchange of small handmade or store-bought tokens between attendees and participating vendors.
