Calaveras Celtic Faire

The Calaveras Celtic Faire is a Celtic heritage celebration held at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds (Frogtown) in Angels Camp, California, honoring the cultures of Brittany, Cornwall, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, the Isle of Man, Galicia and Asturias. Attractions include the Imperial Knights Tournament of Champions with full-contact jousting and hand-to-hand medieval combat, SCA armored fighting, Highland games, clan and society encampments, living history guilds, a whiskey room, a Celtic marketplace and food concessions. Pipe bands and Celtic musicians perform alongside variety acts such as juggling, blacksmithing demonstrations and Silk Road music and dance. Friday is an alcohol-free educational day for families and students.
