Bringing in the May

Bringing in the May is a free fairy-themed spring festival presented by the Morgan Arts Council in Berkeley Springs State Park, in the center of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. The two-day event fills the park with music, drummers, bagpipes, costumed fae and bubbles, alongside vendors selling fae-inspired art and craft wares. Activities include dancing the Maypole, receiving a fairy name, building fairy houses, a crafts tent, a drum circle, hooping, fairy tea parties, a Fairy Closet, selfie stations, a Giving Tree, a Wishing Tree and a silent auction. Attendees are encouraged to come in wings, horns or other fairy-creature costume.
