Sherwood Robin Hood Festival

A community festival in Sherwood, Oregon, run by the non-profit Sherwood Robin Hood Festival Association since 1954 and drawing close to 20,000 attendees each summer with a mix of modern and medieval activities. The summer weekend includes a community parade, the Sylvan Archers' International Archery Tournament, live music and entertainment on a Main Stage and an interactive Family Stage in the Renaissance Village, a Castle Building Contest and other contests, plus a Vendor Village of more than 100 shopping and dining booths. Admission is free, though some activities and vendors charge fees. The association also holds a holiday festival and a Maid Marian coronation.
