Sarasota Medieval Fair

The Sarasota Medieval Fair runs on weekends at its permanent home, the Woods of Mallaranny at Mallaranny Farms in Myakka City, a 47-acre site of oak trees, grass meadows and winding creeks. Entertainment includes full-contact jousting, human combat chess matches and other shows across 14 stages, plus rides, games and music. An artisan marketplace holds more than 140 shops, and each weekend carries its own theme and line-up. Other offerings include a children's realm, pub crawl, mead tastings, a feast, a bards brunch, a masquerade and a VIP add-on. The fair operates rain or shine.
