Reading RenFaire

Reading RenFaire is a one-day outdoor, family-friendly event presented by Opus One: Berks Chamber Choir at St. John's (Hain's) Grove in Wernersville, a shady wooded property with a bandshell, restrooms and several pavilion-like structures that is temporarily recast as "The Queen's Grove." The program combines food and craft vendors with period music and staged entertainment. Performers listed from the previous edition include the Chivalrous Crickets, a Celtic and Americana folk band; falconer Gregory Wojtera's Masters of the Skies birds-of-prey demonstrations; the Kutztown Pipe Band; harpist Benjamin Reber; and Kyle Mertz with juggling, whip and sword swallowing.
