Elizabeth Celtic Festival

A volunteer-run Celtic festival in Elizabeth, Colorado, combining Scottish and Irish food and drink with music and competition. Visitors find local Celtic bands and stage shows, highland dance, piping, Scottish heavy athletics, living history reenactments, clan tents for tracing family lineage, and an Animals of the British Isles program featuring breeds from the region. Artisans, merchants and food vendors line the grounds alongside pubs serving beers and ales, and there are children's activities plus contests such as the Bonnie Knees Contest. Parking is off Road 17 next to the LDS Church.
