Dunedin Highland Games & Festival

Organized by the Dunedin Scottish Arts Foundation, a Florida nonprofit that grew out of the original Highland Games committee, this one-day celebration of Scottish heritage centers on piping and pipe band competition, heavy athletics and Highland dancing. The program also includes workshops, a pipe band march and ceilidh, beer and food, and a kick-off party held in Pioneer Park the evening before. General parking is remote, with a complimentary shuttle running from several local pickup points; visitors may bring folding chairs, while coolers and tents are not permitted.
